Do I need location on, and what does WorthMile record?
The short answer
Only for GPS tracking in the phone app. With location on, it records your route and kilometres while a shift runs, and stops when the shift ends. Without it, you type your odometer readings instead.
- Recording starts with Start shift and stops when the shift ends.
- GPS tracking is part of Drive+, and of the free trial.
- Your odometer is what the tax figures use. If GPS and your odometer disagree, the End shift sheet says so.
